Construction work on Ejura sport stadium to begin

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejura Sekyedumase Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba has break-grounds for the construction of a Mini Sports Stadium at Ejura Public Park.

The MCE in his address indicated that the project is one of the numerous projects being undertaken in the Municipality and is a major intervention by the current government in making sure to provide modern sporting facilities across the country.

He described the construction of the mini stadium as timely and urged the youth to take advantage of the opportunities it will provide to train and sharpen their talents in football.

He further indicated that the development of the municipality would be a continuous process and urged the people to support the government's agenda of providing more for them.

Present at the ceremony were the Traditional chiefs, Ejura Chief Imam, Christian Council of Churches, elders and people of the Ejura community.

The chiefs commended the MCE and promised their support since the facility will provide space for the youth to explore their talents and skill in football.
