DCE tasks residents to support Government’s Social and Poverty Intervention Programmes

The District Chief Executive for Dormaa West in the Bono Region Mr. Francis Kwadwo Oppong had community visitation to familiarize himself with the communities as well as interact with the residents.

The DCE in this quest visited 13 communities in his districts.

The visit ensured the DCE and his entourage to have first-hand information on the challenges facing the communities; and also introduce some government policies to them.

Addressing the residents, Mr Oppong called on the constituents to support the Assembly’s efforts to push for the development of the district.

According to him, the assembly requests the people's collaboration in the effective implementation of the Government Social and Poverty Intervention Programmes to achieve desirable outcomes.

Some Communities visited includes, Asuontom, Kojokumikrom, Yaakrom, Nkwanto, Kwadwodwomokrom, Beposo, Bredi Akotokrom Nkwantoaso, Centerso, Manhyia among others.
