Jirapa MCE Participate in half Year Review Meeting
The Municipal Chief Executive in the Jirapa Municipal Assembly in the Upper West Region Mr. Nicholas Soyiri has participated in half Year which was organized by the Municipal Health Directorate in the Municipality.

Review meetings are form of assessment with the intention of instituting change if necessary. Over the years, Jirapa Municipal Health Directorate has held such meetings to assess their performance to aid them strategized to meet their targets. This year, 2022 half year review meeting was organized and well attended by all concern participants.

A welcomed address by the Municipal Health Director Madam Florence Angsomwine, she acknowledged the high professional conduct and commitment of staffs in the municipality for the period under review and hope same will continue for the rest of the months to end the year. She expressed optimism of meeting their targets for the year 2022.

She equally noted that, regardless of their positive achievements, weak transport system, further studies and interference of transfer, absenteeism, neglect of dress code, staff accommodation, indiscipline among staffs, poor documentation, are some of the many issues confronting the staffs and the Directorate.


She therefore used the opportunity to appeal to the Municipal Chief Executive and Municipal Coordinating Director who was all present at the meeting to ensure short- and long-term solutions are adopted to support them and thanked the MCE for his support to Health delivery in the Municipality.

The Municipal Coordinating Director who was Chairman of the program entreated participants to contribute effectively and make honest assessment of their work, this he noted will propel more success for the Health Directorate and their individual levels.

Mr. Nicholas Soyiri, speaking at the meeting, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all Health Workers in the Municipality for their high level of professionalism, commitment and respectful conduct over the years to ensure that the people of Jirapa are healthy. He encouraged them not to relent in their efforts but continue to deliver and improve the current spirit to enable them achieved more.

He gave assurance of his commitment to ensure that all uncompleted projects under the Health Directorate are completed as and when resources are available.

The MCE acknowledged the cordial relationship between his office and the Health Directorate and hope it continue to be better in the coming days ahead.
Together with the Health Director, Mr. Nicholas Soyiri presented five(5) bicycles to some five selected hard working volunteers in the Municipality.
