Pm Cuts Sod for the construction of 20 -seater W/C Facility

The Presiding Member for the Obuasi East District Assembly Mr. Jeff Kwadwo Adjei Oware on behalf of the District Chief Executive (DCE) Mrs. Faustina Amissah and the Member of Parliament for the Area Mr. Patrick Boakye-Yiadom has broken the ground for the construction of 20-Seater toilet facility at the Christ the King Catholic Senior High School.

The project which is financed from the District Development Fund (DDF) is expected to end the perennial sanitation issues in the school.

The Presiding Member said the government would be rolling out programs to address educational challenges confronting the District.

Mr. Kwabena Owusu Nketia the District Director of Education indicated that the project has come at the right time since place of convenience was a major challenge to the school and grateful to the Assembly for the timely intervention.

The Assemblyman for Bossman/Lowcost, Mr. Daniel Obeng also called on the school to protect the facility when it is completed.
