SAPIP to develop 1, 400 hectares of land for rice cultivation
The Savannah Zone Agricultural Productivity Improvement Project (SAPIP) has developed 1,400 hectares of land for rice cultivation in the Builsa South District of the Upper East region.

The Communities are Fumbisi Yerinsa, Tuedema in Uwasi and Gbedemblisi. The programme is expected to commence at the end of the farming season in December 2019 to June 2020.


The Chief Executive of the area, Mr Daniel Kwame Gariba, in an interview with ghanadistricts.com said, government is developing valleys in these four communities into rice farm which will help generate money for them.
