TAIN: Bono Minister commissions health, education projects
The Bono regional Minister, Madam Evelyn Ama Kumi- Richardson has commissioned two projects to support education and healthcare delivery in the Tain District of the Bono region.

The facilities which include a fully furnished 3 unit bedroom with toilet facilities in each of the room, common hall and a kitchen for Nurses working at Community Based Health Planning Services (CHPS) Compound at Hani and 3 unit classroom block with four seater toilet facility and staff common room for Brodi R/C JHS is aimed at addressing infrastructure challenges as well as enhancing the quality of education and healthcare delivery.

The Nurses quarters is intended to reduce accommodation challenges facing health workers whiles the classroom block would serve as additional infrastructure to support education in the district.

The regional Minister, who addressed a gathering at a community durbar to commission the projects said government would ensure that all infrastructural deficit were addressed, especially improving education and healthcare in the country.

She underscored the need for the citizenry to support the government to deliver on its mandate.

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Madam Charity Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh said the District Assembly was working hard to increase the number of educational and healthcare infrastructure as well as completing major projects in the district.
