Bekwai MP commissions 3 school buildings

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bekwai, Mr. Joseph Osei-Owusu together with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bekwai Mr.Kwaku Kyei Baffour and the Municipal Director of Education Mad. Lucy Ama Ankrah has commissioned and handed over 3 school buildings to Kokofu, Dotom and Abodom communities in the Bekwai Municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Mr. Kwaku Kyei Baffour in his address appealed to the people to take good care of the facilities so that the MP will be encouraged to do more for the community and also assured the people of equitable distribution of developmental projects within the Municipality.

The MP thanked the chiefs for the supervision that made the contractors completed the work before the time given for the projects, adding that the president is determined to invest more in education which is more visible in Bekwai and appealed to the people to cultivate good maintenance habit.

The Municipal Director of Education Madam Lucy Amma Ankrah commended the MP and government for the massive infrastructure that is going on in the constituency during the time government is introducing new curriculum. She also appealed to the parents to inculcate in their children maintenance culture so that they keep the facilities clean.

Barima Offe Kwasi Okogyeasuo II Kokofumanhene and the Queen mother of Abodom on behalf of the people thanked the member of parliament for the facilities.
