Lower Manya Krobo Assembly distributes 200 desks

The Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly in the Eastern region, has handed over Two Hundred (200) desks to the Municipal Education Directorate for onward distribution to some basic schools in the municipality.

Speaking at a short presentation ceremony at the forecourt of the Assembly, the Municipal Chief Executive of the area, Mr. Simon Kweku Tetteh expressed his appreciation to President Nana Akufo - Addo for his numerous interventions to support education in the area.

He bemoaned the poor maintenance culture of Ghanaians with a call on the Education Directorate to advise the beneficiary school to take good care of furniture.

On his part, Mr. Samuel Kwesi Tettey, the Municipal Director of Education thanked the management of the Assembly for their kind gesture and called for more of such support.

He pledged to ensure that the beneficiary schools take good care of them in order to prolong their lifespan.
