Ashanti Regional Minister Commissions four ( 4) Major Projects in New Edubiase
The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon Simon Osei Mensah has commissioned four major projects in Adansi South District of the Ashanti Region.

The Regional Minister with the Adansi South DCE, Hon. Francis Kwabena Ankomah were joined by the Adansi Asokwa DCE, Hon. Andrew Adu Boahen and Adansi Fomena DCE Hon. Eric Kwaku Kusi, to do the commissioning.

The former Member of Parliament for New Edubiase Constituency who doubled as the Deputy Minister for Agricultural, Hon. George Boahen Oduro also graced the occasion.


The four major projects commissioned were the District NHIS Office Complex at New Edubiase, Six unit Classroom Block and Six seater KVIP at Adansi Obonsu and Nana Baafour Gyankoko Community Durber Ground at Adansi Apagya.

The Adansi South District NHIS Office Complex at New Edubiase was commissioned with the Chief of Edubiase Division, Oguashia Oduro Panin -Brikorang. He thanked His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo, Regional Minister and the DCE and promise to collaborate with the NHIS management to make sure the office complex is properly managed.

The Regional Minister revealed that, New Edubiase is one of the towns in Ghana the president likes so much that's why it was selected among the only 3 constituencies in Ashanti Region to benefi from the NHIS Office Complex.



He also thanked the Former MP for New Edubiase Constituency and deputy Agric Minister Hon. George Boahen Oduro for playing an important role before securing the project.

The Nana Baffour Gyankoko Community Durbar Ground was also commissioned with the Odikro of Adansi Apagya, Nana Baffour Gyankoko.

According to Nana Baffour Gyankoko, He is very happy because the Apagya Community has never had a place to hold funerals and other gathering. He praised the former MP for his good works and selfless character.



The Six Unit Classroom Block and the Six Seater KVIP at Adansi Obonsu was also Commissioned with the Regent of Adansi Obonsu, Obonsu Mankrado Nana Nto.

Mankrado Nana Nto revealed that since elections started in Ghana, their Community has not received massive development like what they have commissioned. He thanked the President, DCE and former MP for giving their Community such important development.
