MCE offers support for mahogany trees planting project
To compliment the efforts of Government in its green Ghana Program, the Municipal Chief Executive of Sagnarigu, Hajia Mariam Iddrisu has collaborated with Green Republic Project, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) to plant about 1,000 Mahogany trees in some selected schools within the Sagnarigu Municipality in the Northern Region.

The tree planting exercise took the MCE to Sagnarigu Girls Model School to begin the exercise and this we will continue until all other selected schools in the Municipality are covered.
Speaking in an interview, the MCE noted that the project will not only protect the schools from climate effects but also help fence them and protect their boundaries from encroachment.
The MCE expressed her profound gratitude to Green Republic Project for the support.
