Many roads were washed away, farm crops destroyed and houses also collapsed rendering many homeless. Businesses and work schedules have been truncated due to the unmotorable nature of the roads.

According to the youth, it is in the light of this, that they organized the labour to temporally fix the roads as they wait for the various authority to step in.

The Communal labour was led by the vibrant unit committee chairman for Daffiama South electoral area Mr kunchuuri Dennis.

In a brief message, he thanked the Youth for the acceptance to temporally fix the road to ensure vehicular movement while authority take immediate steps to permanently fix it. He again urged them to replicate same to other roads within the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District.

The Youth team was supported in kind and in cash from many people including traditional leaders, road users and the Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency Hon. Dr. Sebastian Sandaare.
