Kwabeng health centre gets support

As part of efforts by the Atiwa West District Asembly to improve health care delivery in the district, the assembly has donated 6 hospital beds to the Kwabeng health centre.

The beds which cost GH13, 813.00 were procured with funds from the Assembly’s share of the District Development Fund (DDF).

Delivering the beds to management of the centre, the District Chief Executive for Atiwa West District, Mr. Seth Asante said the gesture forms part of the Assembly’s commitment to provide quality health care to the people.

He said the development of the district depends on the health of the people, hence the resolve by the Assembly to provide the needed health facilities to the citizens in the district

The District Director of Health, Mr. Benedict Bekui receiving the beds, thanked the DCE for the timely intervention and praised management of the assembly for the kind gesture.

He further gave the assurance that the beds would be put to good use.
