The public was educated on Home violence, political party activities, ethnicity, religion and also on Jihadist, Boko haram among others. He explained that, these terrorist groups have operated in many African countries; expecially the sub Saharan part with the exception of Ghana of which he bemoaned the porous nature of our borders which has been a breeding grounds for illegal immigrants.

Col. Arthur further hinted that, we should be curious about people who visits our neighborhoods frequently and are not indigenes. The ‘Zaminama’ guys that sell cloths, those that are offering pedicure, those that buy and sell scraps are all suspects since they operate as recce for their paymasters.

The Rtd Colonel particularly made mention of some youth who wield cutlasses, matchetes and hoes in front of the Abuakwa Shell filling station seeking to get jobs in weeding and landscaping in the Atwima Nwabiagya District as a dangerous enterprise. He said we should not allow them to wield such deadly weapons at crowded places which is few meters away from the District police command, adding that we should not wait for any calamity to strike before action is taken.

Col. Arthur Rtd., added that, the ubiquity of Churches operating Universities bore a National Security Risk. Because, the unemployment rate in the country is a serious issue and any unemployed person can be influenced with money to undertake any extremist actions.

Colonel Arthur Rtd was amazed as to why policy makers are allowing these schools to operate without opening a company to employ their students? "Allowing churches to open Universities, and not forcing them to open 1D1F or Factories in these communities is absurd", he chided. The ex-army Officer emphasized that, churning out over 200,000 graduates annually must come with it’s attendant job opportunities.

In addition, the regional security honcho noted among others that, these terrorists like to operate in communities where gold are mined, hence Atwima Mponua may be a breeding ground for these brutal enterprise. This he stated, they do so to exchange their booty with guns for their nefarious activities.

Mrs. Louisa Benon, the District Coordinating Director thanked the team for such a useful education. He asked the presiding member, to arrange for a meeting with Assembly Members for such a workshop.

The program had over 100 participants which included but not limited to the clergy, the Police, Immigration, Fire Service and all HODs and their staff. Others are market queens, driver unions and Bankers.

The team was made up of Col. Rtd Kofi Arthur, Regional Security Coordinator; Mr. Mensah Pepe, Ops Room Comptroller RCC; and Mr. Osei Kufour Agyemang National Signal Bureau.

He advised that, ‘IF WE SEE SOMETHING, WE SHOULD SAY SOMETHING by calling the toll free number 112.
