N JUABEN N: Kotech receives furniture

The Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben North, Comfort Asante on behalf of the assembly has presented one hundred dual desks to Koforidua Technical Institute to augment government educational policies.

The presentation exercise was made upon request by some educational institutions in the municipality.

Presenting the furniture, the MCE reiterated that, “schools in the municipality need furniture, logistics, room and equipment in all the various levels of education especially second circle institutions, due to the double track system and increase in enrollment between the 2018/2019 academic year”.

She also advised the heads of the institution to take and make good use of the furniture as well as keep proper maintenance. The MCE added that in future, woods will be provided to enable the Technical Institutions to make their own furniture. This she said, will also aid in enhancing their technical abilities.

Madam Comfort Asante urged the heads of the institutions not to hesitate to inform her and the assembly with any challenge they may encounter, stressing that schools such as Effiduase Methodist “C” Asokore R/C primary, Asokore SDA, and Jumapo Anglican are yet to benefit from the remaining 200 desks.

The headmaster at KOTECH received the desks and thanked the MCE and her entire outfit for their kind gestures.

He also promised to make good use of the desks and will also call for support when the need arises.
