Sekyere Kumawu Waterfalls to undergo facelift

Lovers of water falls in and around Sekyere Kumawu in the Ashanti Region would have the opportunity of a better experience the next time they visit the Sekyere Kumawu Waterfalls.

The Sekyere Kumawu District Assembly is exploring possibilities of giving massive, facelift to the waterfalls in the district to attract more patronage.

Since the inception of the Sekyere Kumawu Waterfalls, it has received much patronage and attention from the length and breath of the nation.

Mr Kenneth Akuffo Asare the renowned canopy walk-way builder in Ghana told journalist after exploring the possibilities of building additional facilities at the site stated that, the district assembly has mandated him to embark on a survey at the site and if things go well, 2 ziplines, 2 canopy walkways with 2 cable walk could be constructed at the area and would help boost revenue generation to the assembly.

He also called on investors to invest at the site as is one of the lucrative ventures and has recorded high patronage over the years.

Mr Eugene Morrat, the Peace and Tourism Ambassador for the Sekyere Kumawu District who double as the General Manager for New Mercury Fm gave assurance that, his outfit would team up with the various entertainment industry players so that the intentions of the assembly could come to birth.
