Akatsi S: Edzikope community gets borehole facility

Hope for Ghana, a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO), in partnership with Grace life Church has constructed and handed over a new borehole for residents of Edzikope, a community in the Vuxor-Have Sremanu Electoral Area of the Akatsi South municipality.

With a population of over 500, inhabitants of Edzikope, who are mostly farmers, are forced to travel miles before having access to potable water.

The situation has forced many inhabitants to relocate to other towns and villages.

In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the Assemblyman for the area, Mr. Bright Badasu, expressed his appreciation to the chiefs, elders, and donors for their massive support.

He said the community has been in dire need of potable water for a long time and therefore lauded Hope for Ghana for coming to their aid.
