DCE disbursed free uniforms to the Needy

As part of efforts to provide decent school uniforms to needy pupils across Bia West District, the District Chief Executive Bernard Gyebi Blay has instituted an initiative dubbed “Free Uniforms to the Needy.”

The DCE first port of call was Gyesewobre D/A Primary School together with the Head teacher, Mr. Ackaa Joseph Dominic and was able to figure out fifty one (51) pupils; some with uniform but not in good shape and others none.

He provided all the fifty-one (51) pupils each with a brand new school uniform to at least help boost their confidence level in learning since they are our future leaders.

In addition , three basic schools; Akweikrom D/A Primary, thirty-five (35) pupils (30 girls), Kramokrom Basic School , thirty-five (35) pupils (30 girls) and BNP D/A Primary School forty-one (41) pupils (21 girls) benefited.

In all one hundred and fifty three (153) pupils; mostly clad in indecent uniforms and others, none were beneficiaries.
