Bono Regional Minister, deputy visit Jaman North
The Bono Regional Minister, Mrs. Evelyn Ama Kumi Richardson and her Deputy Minister Hon. Siaka Stevens (MP of the Jaman North District) today 15th May, 2019 paid a working visit to the people in the Jaman North district.

The Hon. Ministers and their team arrived in the Jaman north district on 14th May, 2019 around 9:30pm from the Jaman South district.

The purpose of their visit was to interact with the staffs of the Assembly and also to officially commission a newly constructed girls’ dormitory and dining hall facility for Sumaman Senior High School as well as 2 Doctor's Bangalore and a maternity Block for Suma Presbyterian Clinic.

The colourful event which hosted the presence of Odeneho Dr. Afram Berempong 3, the Paramount Chief of Suma Traditional Council started around 9:00am and in a sectional address delivered by the Bono Regional Minister and her Deputy Minister touched on the NPP vision for the school and the district as a whole.

Hon. Evelyn Ama Kumi Richardson in her address said, the above mentioned facilities of the school is the purposely to serve a solve accommodation problems of Girls while the modern Dinning Hall facility which can also serve as an Assembly Hall for the as well as a conference Hall for them should be properly managed and maintained for long lasting.



She continued that, there more facilities on the coming to the school and it can only see day light if the school authorities are able to manage and maintain the already existing ones.

The ministers therefore advised the entire student body to clearly do away with drugs and concentrate on their studies and their books.

The team after commissioning the 2 projects at School proceeded to Suma Presbyterian Health Center to officially handover a bed room with other facilities and a well a furnished maternity ward to the facility.

With their interaction with the Assembly Staff, the Hon. Minister urged them to inculcate the spirit of punctuality and positive attitude as well as commitment to work.



Madam Richardson therefore tasked the DCE, Adane Ankomah to respect and motivate his subordinates for a successful and fruitful administration.

The team also paid visit to the District Chief Imam, Imam Seidu at his residence where they received prayers of blessings from him.
They therefore proceeded to the Banda to continue their tour.
