Wa MCE hands over 6-unit classroom block to Fongo E/A Primary School

The Municipal Chief Executive of Wa Municipal Assembly in the Upper West Region, Issahaku Tahiru Moomen led the technical handing over of a new 6-unit classroom block to Fongo E/A Primary School in the Wa municipality of the Upper West Region.

The new facility is expected to ease congestion in classrooms especially during this COVID-19 period as well as improve the quality of education in the municipality.

At a short ceremony, the Wa MCE charged the school’s authority to exercise a proper maintenance culture to ensure the longevity of the facility and assured the school of government’s continuous support.

He called on the school authority to be mindful of the covid-19 safety protocols by ensuring that the classrooms are not overcrowded with students.

The Headteacher of the school, Seidu Yakubu assured that the facility would be put to its intended use and under proper care.
