WEIJA: MP donates motorbikes to the police
The Weija Divisional Police Command has received five (5) motorcycles, computers and some cartons of disinfectants from the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Weija-Gbawe Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.

The Member of Parliament, who also doubles as the Deputy Minister for Health, Hon Tina Naa Ayele Mensah and her entourage first port of call was the Divisional Station where the group was welcomed by DSP Diana Tei Enningful, the Divisional Commander.

She received two motorcycles, a computer set and cartons of disinfectants and thanked the MP and her entourage for the kind gesture and promised to take very good care of the items.


Other police stations that benefited were; the Tetegbu Police Post, Old Weija and Lafa Police Stations had their share of motorcycle each.

Speaking at a short ceremony, the MP highlighted the need to resource the Police to enable them serve the municipality and the constituency better especially at this time of the year.



On the part of the Municipal Chief Executive, Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, said the Municipal Assembly will, in the coming days enhance what the MP has just done to other areas.
