Enter my forest and face my wrath - Dormaahene
The paramount chief of the Dormaa traditional area, Osagyefo Oseadeayo Agyemang Badu II, has given out a stern warning to illegal chainsaw operators and loggers, charcoal burners with a matter of urgency not to enter the Dormaa Ahenkro forests for any purpose.

He said it is at the welfare of the loggers and charcoal burners to adhere to the new order and be free than do default and face the wrath of the traditional council. "Anyone who feels bigger than me and my elders can enter the forests in Dormaa Ahenkro and its environs and he will see my anger" nana fumed.

According to Osagyefo, a joint special task force by the traditional council and the municipal security committee (MuSEC) has been constituted to check illegal chainsaw operation and charcoal burning.

"The law will deal with you if you are caught in the forests without fear or favor irrespective of who you are", he added.

Osagyefo Agyeman Badu II made this known at his Dormaa Ahenkro residence when the 2017 national best Farmer, Philips Kwaku Agyeman paid a courtesy call on him.

He later paid a glowing tribute to the national best farmer for 2017 for his Hardwork and diligent and general contribution in the agriculture sector of the country. "Do all your best also to draw the youth closer to you to ensure sustainability of farming in the futureā€.
