N JUABEN S: Twenty schools receive 1000 furniture
The New Juaben South Municipal Assembly headed by the Municipal Chief Executive, Isaac Appaw-Gyasi, has presented thousand (1000) pieces of mono/dual desks and Fifty (50) Teachers’cChair to twenty (20) junior high schools within the Municipality.

The items worth about Two Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢200,000.00) was sponsored from the Internally Generation Fund of the Assembly.

Addressing the audience, the MCE explained that the President of the Republic takes education as a key player in the development of the nation and therefore it is necessary as an Assembly to give all the necessary support to education in the Municipality.

“If we want more doctors, teachers, among other, then it is our responsibility as citizens to support our school going age and avoid investing luxury in things. The Municipality is not taken no stone unturned to invest in the education of the future generations.”



Receiving the items on behalf of the Municipal Education Directorate, the Deputy Director in charge of Planning and Statistics, Madam Cecilia Aboagye commended the Management of the Assembly for the kind gestures, saying it will go a long way to benefit future generations.
She further assured the management for a good maintenance culture.

Beneficiary schools were Presby JHS F, Presby JHS B, Presby JHS A, King of Glory, Presby JHS, Bonya, Ada Kyeremateng JHS, Adweso Mile 50 JHS, Adweso SDA JHS among others.
