Ga Central Assembly distributes PPEs to schools
Following the partial reopening of Senior High Schools, the MCE for Ga Central Municipal Assembly, Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Lamptey, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Ghana, on 22nd June 2020, distributed Personal Protective Equipment to the Odorgono and Apostle Safo Senior high schools respectively.

Also present at the short ceremony was the Municipal Coordinating Director, Alhaji S. Y Inusah, the Municipal Education Director, Madam D.D.O. Welbeck, Heads, and some teachers of the above-mentioned schools.

Amongst the items presented were face masks, hand sanitizers, and thermometer guns.

Presenting the items to the heads of the various schools, Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Lamptey, admonished them to ensure that students are well protected by adhering to all sanitary and safety protocols.

Hon. Lamptey also assured them of the assembly's readiness to provide support should the need arise but was quick to add that there would be regular unannounced visits to the schools to see if measures are being adhered to.

This is to help protect the students from getting the deadly Coronavirus and spreading it amongst the student population.
Private Senior High Schools within the Municipal were also presented with PPEs at the premises of the assembly to be used by the students and teachers.
