The Bosomtwe District Assembly has with funding from its share of the common fund completed a new classroom blocks for Piase, a farming community in the district.

The new six-classroom blocks, with office and store is aimed at improving the standard of teaching and learning in the area through the provision and easy accessibility to quality education.

Mrs. Veronica Antwi Adjei, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area told Ghanadistrict.com that the move was fulfilment assembly’s effort to ensure that all basic schools within the four corners of the district were provided with improved infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning.

She underscored the importance education in a persons early development and thus called on parents to ensure that all children of school-going age are enrolled. She added that the assembly was there to provide the needed infrastructure and other basic necessities to improve the standard of education.

The assembly, she noted is keen to invest heavily in terms of completing ongoing school blocks and building new ones to help improve education.
