The Krachiwura and President of the Krachi Traditional Council, Nana Mprah Besemuna III has commended government for its efforts at alleviating their problems but asked the government to urgently tackle the Kete-Krachi-Dambai stretch of the road without any further delay.

Nana Besemuna III said the area experienced very unusual heavy rainfalls this year which resulted in very bad conditions of their roads, causing inculculable damage to their already struggling economy and making access to other parts of the country more difficult.

He also registered his displeasure at the way works on some roads were abondoned without any explanations from the officials.

The Krachiwura added that the main road which was given a first coating has started deteriorating because the work was not completed.

He therefore appealed to the government resume work on those unfinished roads to aid economic activities in the area.
