ATIWA WEST: Create enabling environment for learning KG- teachers advised
The District Chief Executive for Atiwa West Mr. Seth Asante, has admonished public school teachers, especially those teaching at the kindergarten levels to create the enabling environment to make schooling attractive to pupils in the district. He said the environment and attitude of some teachers could serve as a disincentive to the pupils and would discourage them from attending school.

“You as teachers must show them love and treat them as your own” he added.

He gave the admonition

when he visited some Public Schools in the district to welcome fresh Pupils who were attending school for the first time in commemoration of ‘My first day at School’ celebration.



Mr. Asante advised the pupils to be punctual at school and take their studies seriously to enable them grow and become responsible adults in the near future.

He feted the pupils with biscuits and soft drinks and supplied them study materials such as pencils, erasers, and writing books.

The schools visited were; Akrofufu Cathelic KG., Kwabeng R/C Kingdergarten, Pameng Presby KG., Akakom Methodist Kindergarten, Asamama Methodist K/G, Asunafo Presby KG, Gyamaase D/A Kindergarten, and Kwabeng Islamic KG.

He was accompanied on the annual event by the District Director of Education Mr. John Kwasi Osafo, the District Coordinating Director, Madam Emelia Osaadu, and the District Information Officer, Mr. Patrick Ayeh Bekoe.
