ASSIN C: Assembly puts measures in place against COVID-19
The Assin Central Municipal Assembly has diligently put in place measures to stop COVID-19 from entering the municipality whilst they are yet to record any case.

In an interview with ghanadistricts.com, the Municipal Chief Executive Nicholas Baako hinted that the assembly has been liaising with the health facilities to enable them to have any record concerning patients who might show symptoms of the virus.
He stated that before anyone enters the municipality, he or she will wash their hands at the barrier point, and also temperatures are being checked before you are allowed to finally enter the municipality.
Mr. Baako added that even the market is running shifts in order not to overcrowd the place for them to practice social distancing, adding that he went with the media in order to educate them on COVID-19 and how to keep personal hygiene so as not to contract the disease.
