He said, the assembly, as part of efforts to increase revenue mobilization has recruited additional commission collectors to augment those already working tirelessly in the district.

Mr Darko-Quarm made this known when he was speaking at the Assembly’s First Ordinary meeting at Potsin, the district capital.

Touching on some fiscal achievements, the DCE noted that, the Assembly had as at September 2018, collected GHs 203,286.65 which represents 40.66% of the estimated GHs 500,000.00 for the year.

He was hopeful that the Assembly would generate more Internally Generated Funds (IGF) if proper mechanisms are put in place.

He urged Assembly members to support the Assembly by educating their electorates about their financial obligations to the district and the country as a whole.
