Constituency Executives in Bono-East receive motorbikes
The first Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Bono-East Region, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed has donated eleven motorbikes and a sum of two hundred (GHS 200.00) cedis each to all the eleven constituencies in the Bono–East Region.

The move, he said, is to support executives at the various constituencies to canvass for more votes at the “hinter lands’’ where vehicles cannot reach for the party to win power come 2020 election and beyond.

The Regional organizer, Sulemana Musah also donated fifty-five (55) Bags of rice to be distributed to the constituency executives.

In his remarks, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed thank all executive for their efforts towards the party.

The chairman for the programme Alhaji Musah Asante said, the fact that representatives of all the eleven (11) constituencies were represented was a clear indication of the party’s readiness to capture power comes 2020 election.



He urged members not to relax but strengthen their efforts in making sure that the party remain united for victory 2020. He pleaded with executives to use the motorbikes purposely for the work at the constituency level, and stress that they should not let the arrival of the motorbikes divide and destroy their unity.

The Regional Minister for Bono–East Region, Kofi Amoakohene urged members to eschew the blame game attitudes, where members of the same party blame their colleagues or leaders at the various positions for amassing wealth and neglecting party members without any justification. He said in some instance members of the party blame government even more than the opposition. He urged them not to take individual attitudes to destroy the party.



He added that in a party system we have direct and indirect benefits and so not all will get both benefits at the same time. Whereas some will get the benefit in the morning, others will get it in the evening.

Professor Ameyaw Akumfi, Board Chairman, Ghana Infrastructural Development who was part of the meeting urged all the executives to draw plans to win all the existing seats in the region.
