K NCHUMURU: Farmers receive inputs under “Planting for food and jobs”
The District Chief Executive of Krachi Nchumuru, Augustine Appiah has hinted that Krachi Nchumuru District has been a beneficiary of government's flagship programme, “Planting for food and jobs” initiative.

Addressing the people of Nchumuru at a programme held to welcome the Volta Regional Minister as part of his working visit to the district, Mr. Appiah stated that the district received inputs as promised by the government to support farmers under the initiative.

He disclosed that a total of 9,120 bags of fertilizer was received, including varieties of improved seeds for distribution to the farmers.

According to him, a total number of 885 farmers at Banda has benefited from the fertilizer distribution with 167 females and 718 males.

He again added that the Assembly renovated a dilapidated warehouse at Banda to serve as a store to keep the fertilizers for onward distribution to farmers at Banda and it's environs

He thanked the Regional Minister, and used the opportunity to commend the Akufo Addo government for his support to the District.
