DCE cuts sod for Construction of lockable Market Stores

The Denkyembour District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Seth Ofosu Birikorang has cut the sod to commence the construction of a 10-Unit Lockable market Stores at Akyem Boadua.

The project which is expected to be completed in Seven(7) months will ease overcrowding in the market and to alleviate challenges the trader go through especially during raining season.

The market store is to serve the people of Boadua and to attract people from nearby communities in order to boost revenue generation for the Assembly.

The DCE stated that the project during and after its completion will create jobs for the people and also after it has been rented out to people.

He also gave an assurance that the District Engineer, Mr. Davor Wonder(Project Consultant) would monitor the project closely to ensure that it is executed according to specification.

Present at the event were Mr. Mark Addo District Co-ordinating Director, Prince Abrokwah Procurement Officer, Assembly Member Hon. Henry K Norgah, Hon. Vincent Akorli, Jacob Mensah and others.
