Divine Kporha honoured with Kofi Annan Youth Inspirational Award, 2018.
The 4th National Mental Health and Well-being conference organized by the Mental Health and Well-being Foundation was organized this week from October 15th -16th, 2018 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, under the theme: “Mental Well-Being of Our Youth And Young Adults".

This is a conference where high profile intellectuals, professionals, students and various public figures from different countries all over the world deliberate on issues affecting mental health.

The conference ended on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 with the presentations of awards to deserving personalities.

Mr. Kporha Divine won the enviable Award for the evening as he was honored with the Kofi Annan Youth Inspirational Awards for Leadership and Community Works.

The Kofi Annan Youth Inspirational Awards was set up by the Mental Health and well-being Foundation in honour of the late former UN Secretary General in memory of his dedication to the development of young people working in communities to improve on the lives of the less privileged.

The purpose of the award is to honour inspiring young leaders who are dedicated to community services.

Mr. Kporha Divine is the Former SRC President of the University of Health and Allied Sciences and has embarked on several projects on community service and has been given recognition for his service to humanity by his institution and other institutions. He has also coached many young leaders to inculcate into them the spirit of the spirit of volunteerism and patriotism as he is a strong volunteer.

He dedicated the award to Prof Fred Newton Binka, Prof Chris Kewley, Dr. Kofi Osei Kusi and all young people who are solving problems of communities.
