Kintampo MCE joins clean-up exercise

In a show of leadership by example, Mr. Micheal Sarkodie Baffoe, the Municipal Chief Executive of Kintampo North Municipal Assembly joined the people of Sewaba a community in the municipality for a massive clean-up exercise.

This exercise was organised to get rid of filth that has engulfed the environment by disilting choked gutters and drain, clear bushes along streets and other important areas, as well as sweep areas that needed weeping.

The MCE, after the exercise advised that all should desist from littering around to make the municipality a clean and better place to leave for better health since prevention of disease is better than cure.

“All should find the appropriate place of disposal in order not to expose yourselves to outbreak of diseases”.

Also taking part in the exercise was the Kintampo Tipper Truck Owners Association, Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and many volunteers who supported in various ways.

This is the first of its kind when he took the reign of leadership.
