Ada East DCE promoting investment agenda of the district

Sarah Dugbakie Pobbe, District Chief Executive of Ada East District Assembly is bent on making the Ada East District a preferred investment destination for both locals and foreign investors.

Abounds with tourism potentials, the Ada East can rake in a lot of revenue for development and improve employment opportunities if the various potentials are harnessed.

It is in light of these that the DCE, Sarah Dugbakie Pobbe since coming into office has been pushing the agenda to ensure investment potentials of the district are developed by interested investor for mutual benefits.

According to the Coordinating Director of the Assembly, Alhaji Saaka Oramoni, the DCE as part of getting investors to invest in the area has attended investment forum in South Africa to expose the potentials of the area to potential investors and woo them to invest in Ada East particularly in the tourism sector to boost domestic tourism and foreigners.

He pointed out that that trip has yielded a lot of good results as there had been a lot of follow-up with a number of them expressing interest. This, the DCD said would be the foundation of Ada East becoming a major investment destination.

To make things easier, under the leadership of the DCE, the Assembly is in touch with the chiefs and opinion leaders in the district to document lands and assist investors acquire lands that are litigation free.
