CENTRAL G: Tuluwe Traditional Area gets electricity
The chiefs and people of the Tulwe Traditional Area in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region have been connected to the national grid for the first time in its history.

The District Chief Executive for the area, Mustapha Mahama expresses his joy as he was joined by the paramount chief of Tuluwe Traditional Area Tuluwewura as he commissioned the project.
He said the Tuluwe Traditional area is one of the largest in the region; however it is the least covered in terms of electricity.
The paramount chief for the area also expressed his joy, indicating that he was the only chief in the region without electricity, He said “I can now proudly tell my other chiefs that I also have electricity”.
