EJURA: Leadership meet staff
As part of the grand agenda to meeting the expectations of the people they serve, staff of the Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region were reminded of the need to take their delivery seriously.

At a staff meeting to conscientize the staff, which was chaired by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Alhaji Mohammed Adam Baba, the Human Resource Director of the Assembly, Raphael Sarfo Asamoah outlined some of the cardinal areas that staff should always be mindful of.


According to him, the need for the introduction of the clocking system is to monitor the entire movement of staff, from their reporting time to when they retire for the day.

This, he noted is not without movement with regards to their break time, and even response to official duties outside the office.


Staff were also admonished to seek proper permission when they will be absent for management to have proper records of them. They were warned against lateness and absenteeism as these may negatively impact on their performance.


Some of the departments, at an open forum as part of the meeting called for efforts at equipping the various departments with the necessary logistics to help them function effectively.
