Take advantage of YouStart project and build your skills - DCE
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bunkpurugu-Nakpanduri District Mr. Joseph Louknaan has called on the youth especially youth who are benefiting from the Youstart training to take the project seriously by building their capacities and skills.

The DCE, who officially opened the way for the training to commence, revealed that, the training falls under Ghana Jobs and skills project which is geared towards giving jobs to the Ghanaian youth and as well putting monies in their pockets. “I must add that, this project is so dear to the central government; therefore a lot of commitment is being put by the Bank of Ghana to ensure that this project is sustainable and impactful to the youth of this country”. He said

He indicated that more than 50,000 youth are expected across the country to benefit from the project and Bunkpurugu Nakpanduri district youth cannot be left out. He added that over 500 applications has been received, 101 applicants have been considered for the first batch of training, whiles waiting to unfold the other batches after the first batch are done with their training.

The District Officer at the District Business Advisory Centre Mr. Peter Jatigben Kombat said their unit is strongly supported by the District Assembly to enable them carry out the exercise.

He further indicated that there are 3 levels in all, that is, the Basic level for 5days, intermediate level for 10days and advanced level for 15days.

Head of the BAC Unit, Mr. Richfield Komla Afenyo disclosed that grants will be given to all qualified beneficiaries as part of government commitments on the project.
