This was part of the MPs effort to help improve education in her Constituency.

In all 4464 mathematical sets were presented to the candidates. This is usually done annually by the MP and the Assembly to seek quality education in the Municipality. Because the municipality is large, the MP and MCE grouped the Municipality into zones where the MP visited the Aboso Huni-Valley Zone whilst the MCE visited the Bogoso Prestea Zone.

Madam Oteng-Gyasi appealed to the candidates to learn to become responsible citizens in future. She assured them of governments’ commitment to improving education in the country through the introduction of free SHS policy to make secondary education affordable so as to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.

She therefore urged the candidates to pass their exams so as to be enrolled onto the free SHS policy, and tasked them to desist from examination malpractice to prevent cancelation of their exams.

Mr. Mozart Kwaku Owuh, the MCE of Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality who was joined by the Municipal Education Director Madam Mary Vida Kwofie urged the candidates to build confidence in them to put off their best in the exams so as to bring positive results on the investment made in them by their parents.

He also encouraged them to register a remarkable pass rate in the municipality as compared to the previous years.
