DCE for Amansie West calls for unity among the people
The District Chief Executive for Amansie West, Mr William Bediako Asante has appealed to chiefs and people of Amansie West to unite for the rapid development of the district.

Mr Bediako said this at Manso-Nkwanta when he joined the Manso Nkwanta Traditional council to celebrate 2018 New Year meeting at Manso Nkwanta.

He commended the Omanhene Nana Bi Kusi Appiah II, for been punctual at the Traditional Area to discuss matters concerning the development of the district and urged him to keep it up.

He said the President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo in 2018 will rehabilitate and tarr some of the roads in the district to enhance effective movement of goods and services.

He said the Midwifery Training College started by the chiefs and people of Manso Nkwanta would be completed this year.

Mr Bediako said the District Fire station started in 2016, would also be completed to help the district to fight against any fire outbreak.



On the band on galamsey activities, the DCE said the Government would soon come out with new policy to enable those who have small scale mining license to work and to save our river bodies, lands and forests.

The Omanhene of Manso Nkwanta Traditional council Nana Bi Kusi Appiah II in the New Year message thanked the Almighty God for this year, 2018 and appealed to the people of the district to pray hard and remain united, and contribute to the total development of the district.

Nana Bi Kusi Appiah II, called on government to speed up developmental projects in the district.

He said the district lacks development projects like road network that needed urgent attention.
