Ho West DCE assures of meeting expectations of residents

Mr. Ernest Victor Apau, Ho West District Chief Executive is confident the expectation of the people in the district would be met by the time they complete ongoing projects and implement other laudable initiatives.

He said a lot of developments have taken place and they have a lot ahead of them. “People would usually say that they are not seeing so many projects compared with what they would have expected; it is because we have inherited so much projects which was given out by the previous administration which are counterpart funded by the district assembly common fund.

As we speak nine of such major projects which are Social Investment Fund (SIF) and Assembly counterpart funded have been successful completed; and the assembly is rolling out new ones".

Additional five key project have also been completed by the Assembly, Mr. Apau disclosed.

He bemoaned the absence of some of the decentralized institutions in the district, and added that the assembly hopes to have full complement of the institutions by the end of the third year of this administration.

In view of this, the district fire office is under construction and about 90 percent done, likewise the District Health Insurance office, he indicated.
