Die Hard Fun Club of DL registers over 1000 residents of Nsuta onto the NHIS
The Die Hard Fun Club of Ghanaian highlife legend, Mr Charles Kwadwo Fosu affectionately called Daddy Lumba -DL has incurred the cost involving the registration of over a thousand residents of Nsuta onto the National Health Insurance Scheme to enable them access free health delivery.

Many of them also enjoyed free health screening during the process to know their health status on a number of ailments all at the expense of the club.

Speaking to the President of the Association, Mr Alhaji Abubakar explained that their benevolence is part of activities to commemorate the 54th birthday celebration of the musical legend.



He continued that, highlife super star hails from Nsuta the heart of the Sekyere Central District therefore the exercise was executed to serve as an honor to his own people.

Besides this, they provided street lights to the local authorities to help beef up the existing security logistics in the community.
According to him, since the inception of the club, each year an activity is carried out to mark the birthday of the artist.



The District Chief Executive for the area, Kwadwo Banahene Badiako eulogized the fun club for their initiative to reach out to the poor and needy in society.

He continued that though the government is committed in ensuring the flexible means of getting health care, education is still needed to get more people onboard in the NHIS registration.



He finally advised Ghanaians to always get their NHIS card renewed on time to avoid any inconveniences whenever they are accessing health care.
