The Gun Thermometers are non-contact infrared thermometer equipment that gives the measurement in one-second with temperature abnormal alarm, measurement record storage, automatic display of last measurement results, and highly credited and medically proven for accurate measurement functions.

The Municipal Chief Executive Dr. Prince Kwakye Afriyie said the risks associated with the work of health workers as front-liners were critical and could not be overstressed.

He was quick to add that the equipment would help reduce the risks of transmitting and transferring diseases to the barest minimum among the citizenry in times of accessing health care.

The Municipal Public Health Officer Madam Abigail Ofusu-Hemma Asamoah was grateful and noted that the move was a demonstration of the commitment and tireless efforts of government officials such as the MCE and MP to solve the health needs of the people in the area.
