NKORANZA S: Makyinimabre KG gets 3-unit classroom block with office and dining

Makyinmabre community in the Nkoranza South Municipality has been provided with a new 3-unit kindergarten classroom block to ensure a serene learning atmosphere for children in the community.

The new facility which also comes with office, store room, ceiling fan and dining hall has been commissioned by the Municipality Chief Executive, Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa.

The chief of Makyinmabre, Nana Atekoano was grateful to the community for their support. “I thank the community for their support and commitment towards the completion of the building through everything”.

He was grateful to the current government and Municipal Chief Executive, Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa for providing a modern classroom block to replace the old one.

The MCE commended the support of the community, the Assembly member of the area and the Nananom at Makyinmabre.

She appealed to the people and the teachers of Makyinmabre to make good use of the building and furniture in it, and urged parents to send their wards to school for the teachers to teach them well.

Mrs Dorah Afia Pokua, who is the new Education Director for the Nkoranza South Municipality, praised the community (Makyinmabre) for their marvelous support, and advised the parents to do well by sending their children to school. She presented some snacks to the pupil as to mark their "First day at school”.

The assembly member of the area also called on parents to invest in their children education and make good use of the building.
