BINDURI: Extension of water services in aid of COVID-19
The District Chief Executive of Binduri assembly Yakubu Ayinga Abagare has disclosed to ghanadistricts.com in an interview that, in order to ensure effective hand washing to prevent the spread of the COVID-19, the assembly is undertaking water extension projects to various communities in the district of which Bazua New Town is a beneficiary.

The DCE further explained that to eradicate the spread of the virus, the assembly again has mounted checkpoints at all entry points to the district, where temperatures would be checked.
He continued by saying that, Bazua New Town community has to walk miles before getting water, and so it was necessary for them to get mechanized borehole in order to prevent the virus.
The DCE said more communities will also get to their turn and made mention some preventive measures which the assembly is undertaking to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
