The Gold Stone Community Government Relations Officer, Mr. Patrick Adu Gyamfi revealed that, based on some negotiations between the Company and stakeholders, an appreciable sum of money has been agreed on to be paid as compensation to land and crop owners whose properties have to be destroyed in order to pave way for mining operations to commence.

Mr. Adu-Gyamfi said that landowners however have to prove ownership of the land before compensation would be paid to them.

And added that landowners would eventually have their lands back as the company plans to reclaim the land after it operations.
