ATIWA: Paving of Anyinam Market progresses

The promise by the District Chief Executive for the Atiwa District in the Eastern Region, Mr. Kwabena Panin Nkansah to have the Anyinam Market paved possibly before the close of the year is coming into fruition.

Work is currently progressing steadily on the project being executed by Onuado Construction Limited with funding from the District Assembly Common fund at the cost of GH 191,488.50.

The DCE at the second ordinary meeting of the third session of the fourth assembly told assembly members that following a successful mop-up of all ongoing projects being financed by the assembly, including the paving of the Anyinam abattoir, his next focus will be the Anyinam Market. And true to his words that is being done.

Completion of this project would save traders and other users of the market the usual ordeal they have to contend with particularly during the rainy season when the market gets muddy and water logged at some points.
