DORMAA C: Veep joins Muslims, Chiefs and Imams in Brong Ahafo

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has joined his fellow Muslims, Chiefs and Imams in Dormaa Ahenkro, Berekum and Wenchi in the Brong Ahafo Region as part of this year’s nationwide Ramadan tour, to thank Allah for His continued blessings for Ghana and her people.

Speaking at the gathering, Dr. Bawumia recounted the many fulfilled promises of the Government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and how these policies have directly and indirectly impacted the lives of Ghanaians in general and, Muslims in particular.

Dr Bawumia also offered special prayers on the tour for the sustenance and enhancement of the peace Ghana continues to enjoy in spite of the multiplicity of religious faiths in the country.

He used the significant occasion to ask the Chiefs and Imams to continue to pray for the President and his Government, pray for peace and prosperity in Ghana.

The Vice President, was accompanied by a number of government and party officials including the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa Central who also doubles as the Minister for Health, Mr Kwaku Agyemang Manu; the Minister for Zongo and Inner City Development, Alhaji Boniface Abubakar Saddique; and the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh.
