LAWRA: MCE donates grinding mills and tricycle to 3 communities
The Municipal Chief Executive for Lawra Mr Bomba-Ire Martin Domotiere has made a donation of two grinding mills and a tricycle to three communities on behalf of a Non - Governmental Organization (NGO) based in the Lawra Municipality of the Upper West Region.

Speaking with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Martin Domotiere, advised “members of the various communities to work hard with the grinding mills and the tricycle and also cultivate a proper culture of maintenance. These donations, he noted will help improve lives economically in the Lawra Municipality.



The MCE made these donations on behalf of a Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) which is into developing the capacity of Farmer-Based Cooperatives (FBCs) or Farmer-Based Organizations (FBOs) in Northern Ghana.

Eremon-Tangzu and Tuori-Baapare are the two beneficiary communities which received one grinding mill each and Amburi received a tricycle.



The beneficiary communities were however grateful to the MCE, the Lawra Municipality and the Korea International Cooperative Agency (KOICA) for the support and pledged to put it to good use.
