ADAKLU: Scholarship for 17 SHS students
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Adaklu in the Volta region, Mr. Kadey Phanuel Donkor has awarded scholarship packages for seventeen Senior High School (SHS) Second year students in the area for displaying high academic excellence in their internal exams.

The scholarship package is expected absorb beneficiaries tuition fees and meal until they complete their secondary education.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the DCE reiterated his commitment to support education in the district, adding that the assembly yearns to secure scholarships for other needy but brilliant students in the coming years.
He was optimistic that the initiative will help materialize his vision to support needy but brilliant students and reduce teenage pregnancy in the District.
He therefore advised parents and guardians to invest greater part of their resources in the education of their children so that they would become useful in the society.
He also urged Parents to pay regular visits to their children in school in order to assist teachers mould their children.
