BINDURI: DCE hands over a new police station to the Ghana Police Service
The District Chief Executive of Binduri Yakubu Ayinga Abagre together with the Bawku Divisional Police Commander, ACP Yao Tetegah has commissioned and handed over a fully furnished police station to the district.

Mr. Ayinga noted that commuters of various major markets in the area that had been terrorized by armed robbers will be a thing of the past to the district.
He again said the district had been under the Bawku Municipal police commander despite being on its own since 2012.
He further said putting up this project was his first ambition when he assumed office, and so he would continue to collaborate with authorities to strengthen up security in the district to promote economic activities.
The police commander thanks both the DCE and the traditional authorities for their collective efforts in fighting crime in the area and therefore urged the people to cooperate with the police personnel that will be posted so as to discharge their duties efficiently.
He placed a plea before the assembly to put up accommodation for the personnel that will be posted over there.
